Adidas is in constant technological innovation.
The brand wants to be the best in its sector and seduce as many people as possible. To achieve this, it incorporates new technologies in the products
There are many new technologies that Adidas uses. The 3D printing is one of them. The article “How Adidas Plans To Bring 3D Printing To The Masses” written by Andria Cheng describes it well. The aim of Adidas is to produce mass-market 3D-printed products as soon as possible. The brand is planning to be the world’s biggest producer of 3D-printed products. (Cheng 2018)

Another technology that Adidas is using is the 4D. Because many brands are starting to do 3D-printed products, Adidas decided to do something unique by introducing 4D products. The article ” Born From Liquid: A Closer Look at adidas’ Groundbreaking 4D Technology” written by Steve Slocombe analysed it. For the brand, its 4D is the new way of the 3D-printing and it gives to the product a king of 4th dimension added to the 3D-printing. The whole product is made from a liquid product, the photo polymer, which can go from a liquid into a solid state when it’s hit by light.
There are many new technologies that Adidas is using to develop its brand image. The new technologies used increase the popularity of the brand. The brand builds customer loyalty by introducing new products, but also reaches a new audience.
